Wayne Wilson

Wayne Wilson was born in Kenora, Ontario in 1938. He has always enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, fishing and absorbing the surrounding scenery. He is inspired by nature. Wayne has travelled most of Canada from the high Arctic to Vancouver Island to Sable Island installing weather radar and hydrogen generators with the Federal Government - Environment Canada.

Following an industrial accident in 1969 he became disabled. Wayne then expanded his love of cabinet making to woodturning. Wayne is a member of the Golden Horseshoe Woodturner’s Association. While on holiday in Hawaii and Costa Rica, he became interested in the exotic woods that he saw there.

His works are in private collections throughout Canada and he is represented by the Christine Marshall Gallery in Ontario as well as Fog Forest Gallery in Sackville.
