Celebrating Twelve Fibre Artists

October 8 - 25, 2008

Artists who choose to create and express themselves in traditional techniques are very special people. This group of talented women found imaginative ways to work with yarns, silks and leathers and some of the techniques of quilting and rughooking were redefined.

The artists in this exhibition were: Heather Lair from Manitoba, Diana Dabinett and Shawn O'Hagan from Newfoundland, Deanne Fitzpatrick from Nova Scotia, Alison Murphy from Hampton, Danielle Ouellet and Gabrielle Savoie from Grande Digue and Robichaud, Marilyn Cook from Shemogue, Decima Mitchell from Mount Whatley, Patty Chasse from Woodpoint, and Peggy Sue Payne and Andrea Wilson from Sackville, New Brunswick.
