Ghita Levin

Ghita Levin has pursued her love of pottery throughout her life starting in high school in Ottawa and finishing at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Thirty years later and she has met the challenge of 'making a living at one's art' and lives and works in her studio creating pots and sculptures for galleries around the Maritimes.

Ghita's life experiences and environmental concerns influence the design and look of her work. Her work was featured in a solo exhibition at Owens Art Gallery and she was invited into an important group exhibition at the Dalhousie Art Gallery.

Her work has won numerous awards and her involvement in various craft organizations have earned her a solid reputation throughout Eastern Canada.
