Shawn
O’Hagan
Shawn O’Hagan
received her BFA from University of Guelph in 1975 and continued her studies
at the University of Toronto (B.Ed-1975) and a MFA from the University
of Waterloo in 1995.
Her works have exhibited in solo exhibitions in various public and private
galleries including the Sir Wilfred Grenfell College Art Gallery in Corner
Brook and the Emma Butler Gallery in Newfoundland, and a list of group
exhibitions would include Eastern Edge Gallery in St. John’s, Eye
Level Gallery in Halifax, Gallery Stratford in Ontario, and the Art Gallery
of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Shawn O’Hagan’s paintings are found in the Canada Council Art
Bank, the Art Gallery of Newfoundland and Labrador Permanent Collection,
Memorial University of Newfoundland, Grenfell College and Newtel. In recent
years, Shawn has been concentrating on creating colourful hooked rugs
and mats.
