Donna Rawlins Sharpe

Born in Saskatoon, Donna earned her BA - Honours in Visual Arts and B.ED from York University in Toronto in 1976. She moved to Los Angeles in 1981 and studied Visual Arts at Otis/Parsons Art Institute. In 1982 she studied lithography at the Emily Carr College of Art and Design in Vancouver.

Donna spent a number of years living and working in Japan. There continue to be very strong elements of this experience evident in her work.

Her work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions throughout the Maritimes. She continues to offer art workshops to different age groups and is currently teaching through the Massie Programme at Mount Allison University in Sackville, NB.
