Lynn Wigginton
Lynn Wigginton
graduated from Mount Allison Universitys Fine Art Department in
1974. She has been particularly influenced by the disciplined approach
to draughtsmanship exemplified in the drawings and prints of David Silverberg.
She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in the Maritimes.
Her works are found in such collections as: the City of Saint John, the
New Brunswick Museum, the New Brunswick Art Bank, McCains, Toronto,
the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton and Saint John, the Atlantic
Baptist College in Moncton and Zemon Environmental Systems in Oakville,
Ontario.
In 1995, Lynn produced a body of work (47 pen and ink drawings, 23 wash
drawings and 54 acrylic paintings) to accompany the text written by Dr.
Gregg Finley for a beautiful, award winning book entitled, On Earth
and it is in Heaven- Gothic Revival Churches of Victorian New Brunswick.
This book was published by Goose Lane Press.
Lynns richly detailed studies and colourful landscapes have been
featured in exhibitions here at Fog Forest Gallery for over ten years.
